The Pakistani girl who was shot in the head by the local Taliban for attending a school has become an international sensation and is promoting education for women in her native Swat Valley in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of northwest Pakistan

Salarzai Ltd. – the company founded to protect the rights to Malala’s life story reportedly had £2.2 million in its bank account by August 2015.
Malala, and her parents, Ziauddin Yousafzai and Toor Pekai Yousafzai are shareholders in Salarzai, which is a separate entity from her Malala Foundation, which handles her charity endeavours for female education. The company reported a pre-tax profit of £1.1 million this year.
Malala’s memoir I Am Malala was dealt for more £2 million.
