The factory set-up of a meat producing company isn’t always a good sight. The animals are treated in a very inhumane sort of way which would make normal humans cry. But when you look at how chicken eggs and little chickens are treated in this factory, you wouldn’t be able to do anything but cry.
We love eating chicken, but at the cost of this? They are not even treated like living beings and just slaughtered and butchered. If you don’t believe me, check this story.
We love eating chicken.
But have you ever wondered how the chicken is supplied to you?
An Animal Rights organization infiltrated a chicken hatchery to find out about this.
The little chickens are stored by thousands and tortured right from the day they are born.
If some chickens don’t match the standard weight, they are trashed aside.
Some workers at the factory tear off the baby chick’s head, while other chicks are thrown away in a garbage disposal while they’re still alive.
The ones that meet the criteria are then put onto a conveyor belt.
They are picked up brutally for vaccination.
After every chick is vaccinated, they are thrown into a hole that would take them to the conveyor belt once again.
Then they are packed by 50-100 chickens in one big plastic tray.
When they are packed to be sent to industrial growing farms, they are stored like this.
In the farms, they are pumped with growth hormones and within 40 days, they reach their optimum size. If a human baby would be subjected to such high levels of growth hormones, it would weigh nearly 600 lbs within 2 months.
